I can see all the boats in the water from above. The Awakening is a sculpture buried in the sand that everyone climbs all over. It's so cool! When I ride the Carousel, I choose my favorite animals to sit on. They even have a pirate ship that sets sail there. I 'm glad we had tickets because we had lots of fun. National Harbor even has a special museum just for kids!

From outdoor movies to concerts and seasonal events, to walking around and taking selfies with all the historic statues and get a laugh. The dining options are plentiful. A highlight is the Peeps store, because it's there and it's cute! If you want shopping there's a number of shops and boutiques to explore. Overall, I highly recommend National Harbor as a family-friendly destination.
