Upon arrival in Manila you will be whisked through customs and we fly to Tacloban, in the Eastern Visayas region. Here we will visit the spot where General MacArthur landed in WWII and said the words “I came through and I shall return”. We will cross the famous San Juanico Bridge then head to the province of Northern Samar.
Today you will see the beautiful island sites. Along the drive you will see the mountains, the Pacific Ocean, the swaying coconut trees, & picturesque Nipa huts. We will travel through small villages on our way to our Boutique Hotel.
Here you will have all the comforts of home for the next 5 nights. There is an on site restaurant, bar, fitness center, spa, pool, and shops

This is just a touch of what your itinerary will encompass. Wait until you taste the fresh coconut, the seafood caught just that morning, and the sweets made by the locals.
MONDAY
- Monday is an eco-tour with a 2 hour walk around an uninhabited island. We will meet the local fishermen & woman that supply fresh seafood to this town...including the biggest prawns you've ever seen!
TUESDAY
- Tuesday, we dive into local culture and tour two towns. Sites include a 16th Century Spanish Roman Catholic Church in Pambujan. In the town of San Roque, we will be greeted by the Stratoppo Women's Association for a personal tour. These women will share their life experiences by exploring the streets, homes, and barrios. Lunching together with local delicacies.
WEDNESDAY
- Wednesday takes us on a short drive to see another part of this beautiful island. We will ride a banca (outrigger) up the river to visit and swim in the waterfalls. Tonight we immerse ourselves in gratitude at our Pamper Party. We will have time for R & R back at the hotel and reflection about this unique experience, so far.
THURSDAY
- Thursday, we will visit the botanical gardens and farm resort. In the late afternoon, we relax at Clearwater Beach Resort to see the sunset. Tonight we see our new friends from the association again as they perform for us in a cultural dance show for our last night in Northern Samar.
FRIDAY
- Friday morning we head to Manila. We will visit the old city of Intramuros, the Spanish settlement, and ride a Kalesa - the famous horse drawn carriage of the Philippines.
- You'll see a few other sites for a full day to end your memorable trip here in the Philippines.
SATURDAY
- Saturday we bid you "Happy Trip" for your return back to the USA or where ever you go next.
